The famous Seven Stanes Mountain Bike trail is not too
far away, and bike hire can be sourced in the region if you don't have
your own.
We can help arrange special packages for you, such as golfing, shooting,
mountain biking or
sea fishing. Please contact us for details. To the south of Stranraer are the South Rhins, with mild climate, Botanic Garden, secluded beaches, rugged cliffs and coves. North of the town is the famous Stranraer Golf Course, a beautifully designed course alongside Loch Ryan. In Portpatrick is the Portpatrick & Dunskey Golf Courses, with Lagganmore Golf Course at Colfin. At Castle Kennedy is a new Golf Ranges and Glen Luce has its Golf Course too.
There are several Charter Hire skippers in the area who provide part or all-day Sea Angling charters in Luce Bay, the Irish Sea and Loch Ryan. The countryside around Stranraer is not only beautiful, it has a great
deal to offer by way of outdoor recreation. With hundreds of miles of
coastline, vast acres of forest and rolling hills, this is the natural
place to explore!
If
you would like to arrange a Special package of activity, we would be

it long weekend or longer! Clay Pigeon shooting, Paint-Balling and
off-road driving can all be found locally too. Seasonal shoots also make
